Reading and writing is something everyone has to learn to do. I really truly don't like reading and writing. The only time I read is when I am required by my teacher or my parents reward me for reading. There are sometimes when I actually began to like the book I'm reading. Even though reading and writing aren't my favorite things to do, I know it's something I must master. It is something I will need to do the rest of my life in order to be successful.
Reading and writing aren't my favorite things to do. I am fearful of messing up and failing. When I am reading, I get bored because I don't understand what the book is about. Sometimes I don't understand some of the words. It is harder for me to excel in my reading and writing class. I usually make a lower grade in this class.
Reading and writing has always been one of my worst classes. I know reading and writing is a challenge for me, so I have to work harder and smarter to succeed.
Although reading and writing aren’t my favorite things to do, I still have to do them. Most of the time, I read because it's an assignment from my teacher. My parents also try to get me to read more. They encourage me by rewarding me with something I like if I do all my reading. I need my parents and teachers to help motivate me to read.
There are a few times when I enjoy reading and writing. In the forth grade, my teacher shared a book about a man who changed his life to become a better person. I read the entire book and really enjoyed it. I also enjoy reading short stories about athletes. These stories inspire me because I like sports. I think the challenge for me is to find books that interest me so I can enjoy book more.
Reading and writing has been hard for me to enjoy. Sometimes I only read because my teacher assigns homework or my parents reward me. There have only been a few books I have read that I enjoyed. Even though I don't enjoy reading and writing a lot, I will still keep trying. Maybe one day it will become one of my favorite things to do.
